Erwin was born on July 25, 1963. His master’s degree in Applied Economics (TEW) was awarded by the University of Antwerp (UFSIA) in 1986. He started his career as General Manager of Gamma in Belgium until 1992. Hubo België nv continued its activities in Belgium independently from a Dutch holding company after the taking-over by the actual owners of whom Erwin Van Osta is one.
