He was born in Athens in 1963. He studied Political Science at the Law School of Athens. In 1987, he began his career in sales at Agricultural Cooperative Publications and then at Patakis Publications. In 1991, he continued his career in advertising at Plouto. In 1995, he transitioned to telecommunications, joining what was then Telestet (now Nova), where he remained until 2008 as the Corporate Sales Director. Since 2012, he has been the Commercial Director of the Vitex paint industry. He is married and has two children, Alexandra, 26 years old, and Angelos, 14 years old. In his free time, he is a marathon runner. He started running in 2013 after discovering he had hypertension and was advised to “change” his lifestyle by focusing more on exercise. He has successfully run (and finished) 10 marathons and is the 5th Greek to have completed all 6 Major Marathons.
